As an initial response to the latest revelations of clergy sexual abuse in our Church, and systemic failure in treatment of victims and dealing with perpetrators, St. Peter’s announces its final scheduled listening session for September:

Monday, September 17 (7:00pm)

Susan Timoney, chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council, will join Fr. Gary to lead the discussion. Susan just recently vacated a position at the Archdiocese of Washington as the Secretary of Parish Life and Social Concerns. Fr. Gary and Susan will also seek to gather information to inform future sessions.

All sessions will take place in St. Peter’s social hall under the church.  All are welcome. Please feel free to invite others to participate in the sessions as we seek healing, approach understanding and look for the way forward.
