Saint Peter's Sunday School serves students in grades 1-8. Students who are homeschooled or who attend public schools, charter schools, or non-Catholic private schools should enroll in Sunday School.

Sunday School meets two times each month from September-May. On the weekends when Sunday School does not meet, students are given assignments to do at home. Sunday School meets in Saint Peter School at 422 3rd St SE.

Students preparing for First Reconciliation and First Communion are required to complete both 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School. Students preparing for Confirmation are required to complete both 7th and 8th grade Sunday School. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information. Catechists receive training during the summer and begin teaching in September. No prior teaching experience is necessary. All volunteers must complete the VIRTUS child protection program (www.virtusonline.org) mandated by the Archdiocese of Washington. For your convenience, VIRTUS training is now available online.
